Cookies

Like many other websites, we also use so-called “cookies.” Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard drive. This allows us to automatically receive certain data such as your IP address, browser used, operating system, and your connection to the Internet.

Cookies cannot be used to run programs or transmit viruses to a computer. The information contained in cookies helps us make navigation easier for you and enables the correct display of our website.

Under no circumstances will the data we collect be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.

Of course, you can also view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are generally set to accept cookies by default. You can usually deactivate the use of cookies at any time via your browser settings. Please use your browser’s help functions to learn how to change these settings. Please note that certain features of our website may not function properly if you have disabled the use of cookies.

SSL-Verschlüsselung

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use encryption methods that are in line with current technological standards (e.g., SSL) via HTTPS.

A valid email address is required for this process, as it allows us to assign your request and respond accordingly. Providing any additional information is optional. The data you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and for potential follow-up questions. Once your request has been fully resolved, any personal data will be automatically deleted.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies"—text files that are stored on your computer and allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will first be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data held by Google.

The purpose of the data processing is to analyze the use of the website and to compile reports on website activity. Based on the use of the website and the internet, further related services shall then be provided. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operator.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to fully use all features of this website.

You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address), as well as from processing this data, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link:
Browser Add-On to deactivate Google Analytics

As an alternative to the browser add-on, or when using browsers on mobile devices, you can disable tracking by Google Analytics on our website by clicking this link. An opt-out cookie will be set on your device. This will prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics for this website and for this browser in the future, as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

Use of Google Maps

This website uses the Google Maps API to visually display geographic information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes, and uses data about the use of map features by visitors to the website. More information about data processing by Google can be found in the Google Privacy Policy. You can also adjust your personal privacy settings in the Privacy Center.

Detailed instructions on how to manage your data in connection with Google products can be found here.

Social Plugins

Our website uses social plugins from the providers listed below. You can recognize these plugins by the corresponding logos.

These plugins may transmit information—including potentially personal data—to the service provider, who may use it. To prevent the unintentional and unwanted collection and transfer of data to the provider, we use a 2-click solution. A social plugin will only be activated once you click the corresponding button. Only after this activation will data collection and transfer to the service provider occur. We ourselves do not collect any personal data through the use of these social plugins.

We have no control over what data an activated plugin collects or how it is used by the provider. It should currently be assumed that a direct connection is established to the provider’s services and that at least the IP address and device-related information are collected and used. It is also possible that the service providers attempt to store cookies on the device being used. For details on which data is collected and how it is used, please refer to the privacy policies of the respective providers.

Important note: If you are logged into Facebook at the same time, Facebook may be able to identify you as a visitor to a specific page.

We have integrated social media buttons on our website for the following company:
Facebook

Google AdWords

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you have reached our website via a Google advertisement, a cookie will be set on your device by Google AdWords. The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an ad served by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification.

If a user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to the respective page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Therefore, cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers.

The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users.

If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can refuse the setting of a cookie required for this purpose—for example, by adjusting your browser settings to disable the automatic setting of cookies or by configuring your browser to block cookies from the domain “googleleadservices.com.”

Please note that you must not delete the opt-out cookies if you do not wish any tracking data to be recorded. If you delete all cookies in your browser, you will need to set the respective opt-out cookie again.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy to ensure it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes in our services, such as the introduction of new features. The new privacy policy will apply upon your next visit.
