Dr. med. dent. Yatmaz was aware of the importance of dentistry from her childhood and developed an interest in becoming a dentist later in life. Her career choice was also influenced by her interest in science and enjoyment of hands-on work. Ms. Yatmaz successfully completed her dental studies at the University of Istanbul and subsequently earned her doctorate at the RWTH University Hospital Aachen. For her, the individual needs and fears of patients are a priority to provide competent treatment. She implements this in her treatments with patients through good communication, empathy, and connection. Ms. Yatmaz specialized in the field of digital dentistry during her dental career. Her interest in this area was sparked by technological advancements and digital developments, which enabled her to offer patients faster, more practical, and predictable treatments.
